2nd Ave Lighting Collaborates with Don Kossar Interiors on OLED Lighting Project in Park Avenue Offices

Don Kossar Interiors worked on Dr. Pasquale Malpeso’s dental office on Manhattan’s Park Ave when he envisioned OLED fixtures encircling the reception desk and arching down the entry staircase. 2nd Ave Lighting manufactured custom chandeliers that incorporated high quality OLEDs. OLEDs project no heat, no lamps have to be changed, and are thin and small enough. 

“Sustainable lighting eliminates lamp storage and replacement while saving energy and maintenance costs,” said Mr. Kossar. “OLED fixtures make a dramatic design statement, providing beautiful light above the reception desk and the entry staircase. People are awed by these lighting sculptures. 2nd Ave Lighting had the courage to take on new technology and design to make my design vision a reality.”
